Meet the Artist Summer Series
July 17th and 31st
We are pleased to invite you to our second year of Meet the Artist receptions, where you meet and hear some of New Mexico’s finest artists who display their work at the Governor’s Mansion. At each evening reception, you are invited and hear the artists discuss their works exhibited at the Governor’s Mansion, in addition to viewing the Mansion’s broad collection of museum art and historic furnishings reflecting cultural heritages of New Mexico’s rich history. Docents will be present to answer questions.
In July we are holding two receptions:

On Thursday, July 17, at 5:30-7:00 p.m., we feature well-known New Mexico bronze sculptor David Pearson, whose two works, Summer 2021 and Summer Breeze 2007, are at the Mansion. His website is: David Pearson: Bronze Sculptures

On Thursday, July 31, at 5:30-7:00 p.m., we feature renowned global photographer, artist and author, Scott Christopher, who often serves as photographer at Mansion events. His website is: scottchristopherart
There is no charge and refreshments and light appetizers will be served.

The New Mexico Governor’s Mansion is located off Bishop’s Lodge Road in Santa Fe at One Mansion Drive and there is plenty of parking when you enter the grounds.
