VISIT THE MANSION

The New Mexico Governor’s Mansion Foundation invites you, your family and friends to join in the festivities at the annual Governor’s Mansion Holiday open houses. The holiday decorations are resplendent, and this historic home features wonderful art from our finest New Mexico museums and beautiful New Mexico crafted furnishings.
The Governor’s Mansion Holiday Open House is an annual tradition, which for 2026 will be held on the first two Wednesdays of December: December 2nd and 9th , 1-3p.m. It is a free event, and both adults and children are invited to enjoy the special holiday decorations. We ask that adult visitors bring Photo ID. Light refreshments and music will be provided.
Docents will be present to answer questions about the history of our Governors’ residences over four centuries, and our current Mansion’s fine collection of New Mexico museum art and historic furnishings.
The Governor’s Mansion is located in Santa Fe at One Mansion Drive, off of Bishop’s Lodge Road, 1 ½ miles north of the plaza.

Regularly scheduled, docent-led tours during 2026 conclude on November 12. Next year, look for an announcement for the 2027 schedule under Tours, which will extend from April into November.
Throughout the year we continue to hold private group tours for ten or more, schedule permitting.
